Here you can find a list of verified fundraising campaigns

This page is designed to help citizens eager to support the Italian Health System in these rough times, making it easier to identify and contribute to already active fundraising campaign, promoted or officially recognized by an Hospital. We don’t want to favour one campaign over another, but just to create an accessible and easy-to-use list of fundraising initiatives officially confirmed from an Hospital involved in the Covid-19 crisis management in Italy.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you choose crowdfunding campaign?
We publish just campaigns:
  • directly promoted by a hospital (or the related foundation) through its institutional communication channels or through crowdfunding platform
  • launched by third parties with a formal mandate and authorization from the hospital (or the foundation)
The reliability of the campaigns selected according to these criteria is granted by the specific fundraising platform used by the promoters.
What does it means that a campaign has been “verified”?
A verified campaign is a fundraising initiative which has successfully passed through an assessment performed by ASSIF (the Italian Fundraisers Association), thanks to the professional contribution of a volunteer team of professional fundraisers, the Fundraising Task Force COVID-19. All the activities performed by this team are made on a pro bono basis. The team is carefully checking all the campaigns listed in this page with a rigorous selection process, with solid standards in terms of reliability, correctness, accuracy, completeness and actuality. We have already listed many campaigns and the number will raise over the next few days. Since we don’t want to favour one over another, the visualization algorithm is completely random.
How do you choose hospitals?
We select just hospitals whose institutional website gives the citizens the opportunity to contribute to the crisis management through a dedicated donation form or a bank transfer. We continuously update the page as we find new hospitals launching fundraising initiatives dedicated to COVID-19.
Who is performing the verification process of the campaigns?
The verification process is carried outby ASSIF (the Italian Fundraisers Association), thanks to the professional contribution of a group of fundraisers, who are performing a pro bono due diligence assessment on each campaign in order to select only those that are formally approved and recognized by the hospital. Those volunteers, recognized as FUNDRAISING TASK FORCE - Covid19, are: Alberto Almagioni, Francesca Arbitani, Giovanna Bonora, Ludovica Cerritelli, Diego Maria Ierna, Anna Maria Ietto, Fabio Salvatore, Lisa Vacca.
Can I suggest a campaign?
Yes, of course! We strongly encourage your suggestions. But please, make sure the campaign you suggest fulfills our selection criteria: it must be already launched and confirmed by the supported hospital. All other campaigns will not be published. To suggest a campaign, click here.
Can I suggest an hospital?
Yes, of course! We strongly encourage your suggestions. But please, make sure it fulfills our selection criteria: it must have a donation page on its institutional website or an official and already launched fundraising campaign (eg on a crowdfunding platform). All other campaigns will not be published. To suggest an Hospital, click here.
Can I trust other campaigns that are not listed on this page?
The campaigns you see on this page are not better or worse than the others, they have simply been activated and publicly confirmed by the hospitals they want to support. You can choose the campaign among those listed here or others that are launched or twill be launched.
How will the money collected be used? Can you give any guarantee about that?
The actual use of the funds is decided by the beneficiary, i.e. the fhospital. The verification process carried out by the team does not include the compliance with the destination of the funds declared by the structure, which may also largely depend on the evolution of the pandemic. Italia non profit and Assif decline any responsibility for any errors, inaccuracies, deficiencies and omissions regarding the contents of each campaigns published on this page.
